In-home disability support

Everyday help at home, from a worker you chose

A trained Quad Care support worker comes to your place and helps with the parts of daily life that disability, age or recovery have made harder: showering and dressing, cooking, cleaning, transfers, medication and errands. It can be a couple of hours a week or help every day, and it fits around your routine.

Who it’s for

People living with disability, older Australians who want to stay at home, and anyone getting back on their feet after hospital.

How it’s paid

Your NDIS core budget, a Support at Home package, or private hourly rates. Agency, plan and self managed are all fine.

When

Weekdays, evenings, weekends and overnights, up to full 24/7 rosters. Most people start within about a month, so we can get it right from day one.

Where

Your own home, anywhere across Moreton Bay, the Somerset and the hinterland. Our hub is in Woodford.

What a Tuesday morning can look like

No two rosters match, and yours changes when your week does. One morning shift, roughly as it happens.

In-home support isn’t only for one kind of household. Most people who ring us fit one of these four.

Quad Care
The Quad Care difference

Support workers you choose, and keep

Quad Care started because our own family felt what it’s like to have no say in who walks through the door. So you meet your worker before a single shift, you say yes or no, and if it stops feeling right, one call to the team fixes it.

Meet & greet first

A relaxed introduction at the hub or your kitchen table, before anything is booked.

Trained for complex care

Staff are trained and competency-assessed for complex care, so needs can grow without changing provider.

Local, and on time

Based in Woodford, with vans across Moreton Bay, the Somerset and the hinterland. We know the back roads.

On call, around the clock

The team is in 9 to 5, and a real person is on call 24/7 for the shift that doesn’t go to plan.

The people behind the roster

Who answers when you call

No call centre. The people who build the rosters and write the plans sit at the front desk in Woodford, and you’ll soon know them by name.

Getting started

From first call to first shift

Three steps. Most people go from first call to first shift in about a month, because we take the time to get the match and the handover right.

1

Call or enquire

Tell the front desk what a hard week looks like. We talk through funding, hours and who might suit you. No forms yet.

2

Meet & greet

You meet the worker we have shortlisted, at the hub or at home. Nothing starts until you say yes.

3

First shift

The roster is set together and the same faces keep turning up. When your needs change, the roster changes with it.

How it gets paid for
NDIS

Core budget, Assistance with Daily Life. Agency, plan and self managed are all fine.

Support at Home

For older Australians, through your package (formerly a Home Care Package). We work alongside your provider.

Private & self-funded

Hourly rates, a clear service agreement, and no lock-in.

not sure which? ring and we’ll work it out
Woodford, and everywhere around it

Do you come out to us?

Almost certainly. We’re based at 50 Archer St, Woodford, and our support workers drive across Moreton Bay, the Somerset and the Sunshine Coast hinterland every day. Long driveways and dirt roads don’t bother us.

Other ways we can help

Most people mix a few of these. One provider, one roster, one phone number.

Before you pick up the phone

The questions families ask first

Yes, and it’s the reason Quad Care exists. We shortlist workers who match your needs and personality, you meet them first, and nothing starts until you say yes. If it stops feeling right later, one call to the team fixes it.

Personal care and hygiene, meals, housekeeping, laundry, gardening, transfers, medication, appointments, shopping and getting out. If it’s part of daily life, it’s on the table. Complex care like PEG feeding, catheter and bowel care sits under our high intensity supports.

We’re based in Woodford and plenty of our clients are on acreage or in the small towns around it: D’Aguilar, Kilcoy, Wamuran, Mount Mee, Beerwah, and out to Caboolture and Morayfield. Long driveways and dirt roads don’t bother us.

Yes. Rosters run up to 24/7, including overnights and weekends, with on-call backup around the clock. Our Woodford team is in Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Yes. We support older Australians through Support at Home packages, and anyone paying privately, on the same terms and with the same workers.

Usually about a month. We use that time to get it right from the start: a call, a meet and greet, the right workers matched to you and a proper handover before the first shift. If you’re coming out of hospital or a carer is unwell, tell us and we’ll see what we can do.

We cover the shift with someone you’ve already met wherever we can, and we let you know who’s coming before they arrive.

Yes. Shopping, appointments and catching up with friends can all be part of your roster, so support doesn’t stop at the front door.
