Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS-funded support that helps people with disability live as independently as possible while receiving assistance with everyday tasks. SIL can include support with personal care, household activities, building independent living skills, and participating in the community, with services tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is available to eligible NDIS participants who require regular support to live independently. Eligibility is based on your individual support needs and whether SIL is considered a reasonable and necessary support in your NDIS plan.
The level of Supported Independent Living support you receive is based on your daily support needs, personal goals, and the evidence provided during your NDIS planning process.
