Overview

• We’re seeking a passionate, NDIS experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our growing team of community-based allied health clinicians.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, making a meaningful difference in our clients’ lives and community.

Your role will include:

• Functional, AT, vehicle and home modification assessments.
• Clinical, sensory and mental health assessments.
• Provide and monitor functional skill development programs and therapeutic interventions.
• Utilise objective assessment outcome measures tailored to your client’s self-care and occupational performance needs.
• Supporting and leading our allied health team.

This is you

To launch successfully into this role, you’ll have:

• 5+ years of occupational therapy practice experience, including working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDIS.
• 3+ years in a team leader or supervisory role.
• A post-graduate mental health qualification is not essential but would be highly regarded.
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
• Current driver’s licence and your own transport.

You’re a team player, working well with clinical, support work and admin colleagues, and possess excellent time management skills to ensure all clinical and documentation aspects of your role are delivered in a timely manner.

You enjoy supporting, mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues and coordinating the provision of excellent client care.

Proficiency in the Office/Office 365 suite will also stand you in good stead, as will experience with clinical software packages used in private practice.
