Overview

  • We’re seeking a NDIS experienced, Paeds-focused Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of community-based allied health clinicians.
  • Moreton Bay region location with flexible work arrangements to support a work/life balance – including part-time and full-time options, and work from home where appropriate.
  • Assistance in bringing your own therapy ideas and programs to life, with a dedicated and ongoing budget and management support.
  • A practice manager who was a therapist as your fierce advocate, to help you implement your own ideas for career satisfaction and burnout prevention strategies.

  • Based in Woodford, the Quad Care Hub has recently opened with beautiful furnishings and a welcoming feel. The Hub’s beautiful new building and hydro facilities are less ‘clinical’ and more ‘homely’, encouraging relaxed and responsive therapy sessions.

The opportunity

Quad Care is a growing organisation specialising in community support services in the Moreton Bay Region. We’ve recently expanded our team to include allied health clinicians and are excited about the difference this multidisciplinary approach can make to our clients. Our goal is an integration of allied health and support work across the company, enhancing both the therapeutic outcomes and daily community supports.

You’ll join an organisation built by people with lived experience of disability, ensuring that all decisions and processes are genuinely client-centered and quality-focused. Your role will include:

  • Paediatric focus – the majority of your case load will be aged under 15 years
  • Clinical, sensory and mental health assessments.
  • Utilise objective assessment outcome measures tailored to your client’s self-care and occupational performance needs.

About you

To launch successfully into this role, you’ll have:

  • 1-2+ years of paediatric occupational therapy practice experience, including working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDIS.
  • A personal desire to work a paediatric cohort
  • Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Current driver’s license and your own transport.
