Who would’ve thought ten years ago, we’d be here? In some ways stepping into some pre-ordained destiny. Something we never knew was possible, but somehow always was.
On August 12th, 2023. Quad Care opened its first ‘hub’ in the small rural community of Woodford, South East Queensland.
The balloons were blue and green in true Quad Care fashion, the cupcakes were loaded with icing and the face paint was thick with unicorn dust.
What an amazing achievement for our clients, staff and business alike, to finally celebrate the opening of this space together! Quad Care’s Grand Opening day was a new beginning to the end of a very long road of trial, error and success!
We are so proud to not only share such a wonderful existing community centre with our clients but also with our new Allied Health Team members and Community Activity Facilitators.
For us, this is the first place in the NDIS space, where everything is in one place. Funding doesn’t become a hurdle because there are other options within the same business to support and achieve everyone’s goals.
The Hub was a dream not just for Quad Care but for the NDIS itself, to have the scheme be a success in rural and remote communities. To bring Allied Health, Community Activities and In-Home Support together, with a space for everyone.
We are so proud to bring this space that is as wonderful for participants of the NDIS as it is for their loved ones. A place where the coffee is warm, the books are many and the space for families to sit back and take a breath knowing that their people are held even just for a moment, is just down the road.
